PROGRAM INFORMATION 
Athletes will be separated, if needed, by age and specialty. We are only offering sprints and distance specialties at this time. Hurdles, long jump, and throwing are options if additional volunteers are available to help with these events. All meets take place on Sundays starting in April, and are optional. 
Our objective: Have fun while developing skills and appreciation for the sport of Track and Field. Parent volunteers are needed – let us know if interested!
COST 
Cost: $85 per athlete for 1st family member, $70 for each additional family member. Cost does not include uniform jersey (required for meets) that is purchased separately, nor does it include meet entry fees -- typically $6 (paid on day of meet).

Come out and 'Kill the Hill' as you enjoy a mid-day 5k through Downtown Sykesville! Registered runners will receive a $5 coupon to use at any of the participating stores, pubs, or restaurants on Main St.
SAVE THE DATE February 28, 2021 1 PM for the 9th Annual Sykesville Shiver Shuffle 5K . Race will start and finish in Downtown Sykesville. Make this race a part of your New Year's goal to be active!

This year we have partnered with the Merchants on Main Street and each registered runner will receive a $5 coupon that can be used at any participating store, pub, or restaurant. Enjoy the street music and listen for the race results as you shop.
All registrations are final; no refunds due to weather or non-participation. Each participant gets a pair of running gloves and Finisher Medal.
· Cash Awards to the Top 3 Overall (Male and Female)
  • Each finisher will receive ERR Race Gloves and a Finisher Medal
  • Raffle drawings will be randomly selected and you can claim your prize at the end of your run
  • As with all the ERR events we also have an outside charity benefit from this race. This year a portion of proceeds will go to the Maryland Food Bank. Maryland Food Bank has been hit hard this year because of the Coronavirus.
