The Freedom Area Ringers     

English Hand Bell Choir

The Freedom Area Ringers English Handbell choirs consist of two groups for students grade 4 through adults. Rehearsals held weekly at Faith Lutheran Church, 1700 St. Andrews Way (next to CCPL).  First rehearsal is Sept. 6, 2018 and last is May 30, 2019. Cost is $65.

Registration is available online:

Beginners: Level 1 & 2 No bell or music experience necessary. Grade 4 - Adult, Thurs. 6-7 PM.      

Learn the basic mechanics of ringing, reading music notation, and teamwork moving toward performance of several pieces of music.

Intermediate: Level 2+ & 3 Two years of bell experience or strong music background. Grade 4-Adult, Thurs. 7:15-8:15PM
Build on basic knowledge of bell music / note reading to practice and perform music with expression and musicality.

The “Awesome Kids Program” offers after school classes in music, fine arts,
Cooking, Spanish and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) in a team environment!

Students and adult volunteers perform rock/pop, Motown, Jazz, in this non-profit community music group that supports charitable events throughout the year.  Students improve musicianship while earning service hours performing for their community, building leadership skills and having fun!

(Transportation provided from Freedom, Carrolltowne and Piney Ridge Elementary Schools to each class for a $25 transportation fee every 4 weeks
