First Annual Full Moon Fishing Derby

Location: Four Ponds at Krimgold Park, 5355 Woodbine Rd (Rt94), Woodbine, Maryland 21797
Date & Time: Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. Rain or shine.

Who: Open to all 16 and over with a Maryland fishing license valid through 09/14/2019
Fee: $10.00 per angler
Prizes: $40% of total fees for largest fish, 30% for second largest; remaining 30% for FARC programs

Registration: Online ONLY by midnight, Wednesday September 11: (no fees are refundable after this date and time). Create an account if you don’t have one, select “Register to Play/Participate”, choose “Registrant”, check “Register Now”, and select “Full Moon Fishing Derby”. Follow instructions and pay fee with credit card or check. Online help is available.
Participation limits: 10 anglers minimum (fee refunded, if fewer), 100 maximum
Rules Overview: All MD Freshwater Fishing Regulations apply; final rules available on site.
                Check in at Park pavilion starts at 7:00 a.m.; show a valid fishing license to get an ID# tag.
                Measuring fish by FARC representative stops PROMPTLY at 11:00 a.m.; must be in line by then.
                Fish must be alive and legal per MD Regulations
                Largest fish measured by length; ties settled by weight. FARC decisions are final.
                Complete final rules are included in online registration system and will be available onsite.
                Winners do not need to be present to win prizes after fish are measured.

Controls: Krimgold Park Ponds will be closed to fishing by non-registered anglers during the Derby.
